Kathleen Michaud of Perham receives scholarship award from OMNE representative, Joanne Fortin, Chief Nursing Officer at Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent. Katie is attending the University of Maine at Fort Kent working on her BSN.
Pictured above is Sumner Memorial High Senior Jessica Stover from Winter Harbor (3rd from left) receiving a scholarship check for $500 from the Organization of Maine Nursing Executives. Ms. Stover received the check as a result of a recommendation from Principle Michael Eastman, Assistant Principle Cathy Lewis, and Guidance Counselors Linda Penkalski and Nancy Marshall. She is planning to attend the University of Maine, Fort Kent’s Nursing Program in the fall.
